As per Republic Act 10173, also known as the Data Privacy Act of 2012, the Bank wishes to inform you that:
Privacy of information is a fundamental human right. The Data Privacy Act is an Act protecting individual personal information in information and communication systems in the government and the private sector.
As a responsible financial institution, it is our duty to inform you of your rights as a valued customer, to the confidentiality of any personal information you may furnish in the course of doing business with us.
Information We May Collect
- name, religion, birth date, marital status, address, gender, nationality, contact information, civil status and educational background;
- social security number ,tax identification number and and other information issued by government agencies;
- asset, business and employment details;
- financial information (such as income, expenses, transaction history, deposits and payments);
- third party transactions and history;
- specimen signature;
- cctv footage, images and voice recordings with you;

As a financial institution we always inform our valued customer why, when, where, what and how we collect, use, process, share, dispose of your personal information including your rights to privacy using clear and plain language.

Dumaguete City Development Bank, Inc. assures our valued clients that any disclosure or transfer of personal data to a third party is governed by what is allowed by the law, the mandates of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, requirements of the Credit Information and Investigation Board and other regulatory agencies.
Data Retention
The Bank may retain your personal information only for as long as necessary for the fulfilment of the purposes for which it was obtained.
If you choose to close your accounts with us, were are obligated to preserve and safely store your data for at least 5 years as mandated by Republic Act 9160 in Rule 5 Prevention of Money Laundering Section 2.
